You see, I wasn’t actually allowed to go in there. Shawn’s dorm was the better option, but still, there was a problem. I wanted to bring him back to my place, but my roommates were having a party that night and my place would have been too crowded, too loud. There was nowhere else for us to be but with each other. In the brief time we spent a lot of time together, I went to Shawn’s dorm exactly once. I wasn’t super happy about those raccoons, and I also wasn’t too thrilled when I had to spend more than five minutes hiding in Shawn’s freshman dorm naked from head to toe. Our little fling was doomed from the start, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Did Shawn really want to be tied down with one guy right as he began college? No guy would want that. Looking back now, I was obviously crazy at twenty-one to pursue a relationship with an eighteen year old freshman. Shawn was the first guy I ever changed my relationship status for on Facebook (before promptly changing the status back to Single a few days later).Īnd he was one of the first guys I ever had an incredibly romantic evening with, before it was ruined by a pack of raccoons. Shawn and I hung out for an afternoon right before the semester started and then we casually dated for a whirlwind two weeks. I had just come out to my family and friends and was slowly becoming more comfortable in my sexuality. Yes, I was a senior, and he was a freshman. I met Shawn at the beginning of my senior year at LMU. There was just one thing that could get me to come back - a dreamily cute guy. I never expected to return to a freshman dorm for any reason. For my first year I lived in the Doheny freshman dorm, and for my second year I… moved on. I attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles between 20. Typically, undergraduate students need only budget for term-time accommodation. We do not charge a termly catering facilities charge. All electricity, heating, water, cleaning, maintenance, insurance and network services are included in the Residence Charge. We charge a fixed, all-inclusive Residence Charge with 'no hidden extras'. We have seven rooms which have been adapted for students with disabilities five rooms are suitable for wheelchair users, and two rooms have facilities for students with hearing impairments.Įach of our student rooms are banded accordingly to reflect their size, features and facilities.
